‘Nooit geweest’- Never been, is a film that wants to give the youth of this generation who have experienced intergenerational trauma a visual narrative and recognition of how that can feel like. The film is about 18-year-old Mayson who is confronted with uncontrollable emotions regarding his mother. These emotions bottle up in his inner world to the extent that his world takes him with.
